Between the 10th-12th of May the Southern Hemisphere experienced one of the largest Aurora Storms in history, creating a worldwide movement of humans wanting to witness this incredible display. After a short walk around the shores of Lake Rotoiti, the sunset came and shortly after the sky started to irrupt into colours of purples, pinks and reds. The Southern Lights danced into the evening creating awe for all to see. This image captures the peak of the storm over Lake Rotoiti and all the joy that came with it.
