This is the fabulous Tarantula Nebula and its surroundings in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
What is even more impressive is that these are the actual colours - the image was taken with a colour camera with minimal colour processing (SPCC, green SCNR and selective saturation).
I love the LMC with it’s vibrant colours and wild nebulae. It’s one of the wonders of the southern hemisphere that I feel privileged to have access to.
