Great Aurora Eruption above Whangarei Heads in Northland - 142108

A series of 208 images were captured for a timelapse on the night of the Great Aurora just around half an hour before midnight on a carpak at Mc Leods Bay with a scenic view southwards of Whangarei Heads, a car passed by and illuminated the foreground. It was just right at the beginning of some rays and getting gradually stronger until erupting and phasing out.
