Lighting the way! A literal coincidence, I titled my photograph back in May 2024. What pops into my mind looking at a picture I have taken I name it. I was not aware of what the pouwhenua meant and I recently looked it up, I came across an article which beautiful describe it…a very shot quote from the article “As the protector of the entrance to the harbour it is very representative of the role of the site for centuries,” (https://architecturenow.co.nz/articles/orauiti-reserve/#img=5). I do not want to take away and alter its meaning hence the direct website to the article. Shot using Canon EOS R5, Lens Canon RF 15-35mm set at 15mm, F3.2, ISO 3200 and 15 second shutter speed.
