While staying at the Whites Bay DOC camp I used Photopills during the day to scout out some options if the skies stayed clear. Armed with this information I set the alarm and headed down to my chosen spots. This one was my favourite with the little creek forming a perfect lead into the dark sheltered bay with a Milky Way core rising behind. This is made from 12 untracked images shot at 20mm, ISO 3200, f2.8, 15 second exposure, WB 4200K stacked and aligned in Sequator and processed in Lightroom and Photoshop. Topaz Denoise was used as a final step.
