After numerous attempts over the years to shoot this iconic hut situated high above Lake Kaniere, I took a very impromptu chopper ride up to Mt Brown when I realised I had a rare window of clear skies and someone to watch the kids over the new moon.
The Astro Gods did not disappoint, not a wink of sleep was had and I finally bagged this epic West Coast spot.
