As I had just pulled an all-nighter in anticipation of the this epic event, I went against my better judgement to travel to find clearer skies to capture The Great Aurora of 2024. Unfortunately I was clouded out fairly early in the night but not before I managed this pano on the West Coast of NZ's South Island. It took me a long time to even look as these files as I was so disappointed with myself for staying put, but after stitching and editing the files, its ended up being one of my all time favourite and best selling images. Go figure.
