A whirlwind mission from Christchurch to Kaikoura on a Thursday evening to take a photo for a friend yeilded this result. Without taking my tracker I instead utilised many stacked photos with short exposures of the stars, as well as shooting the foreground separately, then combining in post.
Foreground - 6 shots @ 30secs, f/2.8. Ai noise reduction used in Lightroom on each photo.
Sky - 8 stacked shots (in Photoshop), 10 shots per stack, 5 secs, f/3.5
Photo composited in Photoshop with general tonal and exposure tweaks.
