I photographed this iconic target to try to show as much of the hydrogen alpha in the background as I could. What I found were so many cool details that are often missing from images of this stunning target, such as the filaments to the right of the nebula, or the extension of the nebula reaching upwards. Also seen in this image is Webb's Cross, a star cluster right next to the Triffid Nebula.
