We live in an amazing age for astronomy. Ever more sensitive cameras allow us to "see" the universe in new ways using powerful monochromatic cameras equipped with narrow band filters . While this new age is exciting, it does, I feel, sometimes forget what the universe looks like to the human eye. As an old-school astronomer, I've been trying to use new colour cameras to record the universe in colours that better reflect how our eyes might see them. Here's the famous Eagle Nebula in Serpens!
