Perfect conditions at Lake Mackenzie, whilst on a 5 day hike. A panoramic image consisting of 16 images for the foreground (130s, f/2, ISO3200) and 38 images for the sky (90s, f/4, ISO1600). This image is the hardest one I've had to work for. Carrying a 20-plus kg pack, we trekked from Routeburn Shelter to Lake Mackenzie. We spent two nights there before trekking all the way to Lake Wilson and back to Routeburn Shelter. Five days of epic scenery with my favourite person.
