Occasionally things go wrong in a right sort of way. For the aboriginal people of Australia, the major constellation is the "Emu" made up of the dark patches of the southern Milky Way. It rises shortly before dawn early in the year. Here a stack of 8 images cannot stack correctly as the tripod began slowly sinking to the left! So, instead of aligning the stars the landscape stacking software as created swirls in the sky reminiscent of aboriginal art or Van Gough. The land remains crisp.
