[Artistic] Submission 143111 – Tania Stockdale

The abandoned bus at the Great Moss Swamp, high up in the Rock & PIllar Range, Maniototo. This was the last surviving trolley bus running in Dunedin until it was decommissioned in the early 1980s, a group of fishermen brought it and towed it up to the Loganburn Reservoir to serve as a fishing lodge, after a number of years it was abandoned and has sat lone every since. The road to get to this bus is closed over Winter so it takes a bit of planning to get there, also involves a hike through the most barren rugged landscape ever, with whispering tussocks and howling wind. but worth it!
