Wānaka's ski fields are surprisingly busy places at night. As everyone sleeps the groomers set out to do their jobs in the dead of night. Capturing this activity under the arc of the milky way isn't often possible as it is only like this for a short period each year. A little bit of moonlight also helped to illuminate the scene.
