I was lucky enough to capture a celestial traveller exiting the Galactic Highway, and making their way to Earth. I had been in this spot (Húsafell, Iceland) for some time capturing various whims and movements of the Aurora, none entirely right - too far away, too dim, too many trees in the way. I sat back and looked straight up. The sky above me was cleaved through with a pale but clear pathway. A galactic highway. Moving ever so softly, you could see the energy travelling down the straight road, crossing through stars and galaxies. It then took very little configuring. I was standing outside the BnB, and I pointed the lens upwards. On reviewing the shot, I noticed the milky way core in the background, and of course, a weary traveller on their way back to Earth.
Finished since 171 days, 15 hours and 59 minutes.
