I've shot Aurora before but as we all know this one was crazy different. So It's always hard to know how to shoot when faced with something completely overwhelming. As the first wave of stronger visible activity settled I took a number of images where it looked in camera like a sheet of haze had washed up the lake towards me and then over me. I thought it was nothing until I got home and processed it to find I was able to pull out the most amazing greens I seen in Aurora in NZ.
