Being and Aurora chaser from Auckland has it's challenges but on this night, good friend Matthew Davison and I decided on a last minute mercy dash down South in order to see and capture a possible/forecasted incoming aurora. A crazy, hectic but successful mission culminating in this quickfire panorama I took of Matthew standing back and being mesmerised as the aurora kicked into top gear.
