As we are heading towards Solar maximum 25, the sun exploded with a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) in April 2023 dazzling the southern skies of Aotearoa with a KP7 geomagnetic storm. Location: Lake Rotoiti, Nelson Lakes National Park, South Island, New Zealand
