After last year's big Aurora Australis display in May, I didn't think I would come back here- but I had seen a Milky Way shot from this spot that I wanted to try. With my previous night being spent freezing out at Castle Hill, I was running on very low sleep and decided that sleeping out here was a good idea... Luckily for me, there was a big aurora alert, but relatively few people- meaning that I managed to get a decent bit of rest, while having this show mostly to myself. Unfortunately, some clown decided that shining a laser at me was a good idea, but my eyes and gear escaped from that unscathed.
Finished since 178 days, 3 hours and 26 minutes.
