During a period of high solar activity, I was lucky enough to witness my first low-latitude aurora here in New Zealand!
To the naked eye, it appeared as faint, cloud-like light, but the camera beautifully revealed its deep red color.
The weather was freezing with strong winds, and it was not an easy shoot for me.However, this breathtaking sight is something I will never forget for the rest of my life.
