Shortly after getting my first mirrorless camera; I headed out on an evening to a rock overlooking Lake Alexandrina to get some landscape shots. The clouds had been thick all evening but parted around 11pm to reveal a sky thick with bright green airglow, even up to zenith. I shot a few different compositions over the night, but this is one of my favourites, with the erratic rock in the foreground and the magellanic clouds, airglow, and a subtle aurora in the rear. The rock is a prominent feature of the landscape, although I don't know its actual name. A friend has called it the shouting rock, since you can shout from there and no one will hear you, but I'm going to call it Mia- after all, that is the name on its side.
Finished since 178 days, 12 hours and 50 minutes.
