NGC3621 is a galaxy around 22 million light years away. In April 2024, a supernova was spotted in this galaxy. It's the only 'star' visible in this image that is not in the milky way and is the bright point to the upper right of the galaxy below and between the two yellow stars. This event occurred 22 million years ago, with the light reaching us in April 2024. This image is 11 hours of data including around 2 hours of Hydrogen Alpha.
