First shot at stacking footage of our Sun using a rented Coronado PST, behold! Turns out stacking footage with severe field rotation doesn\'t work out too well. The PST was on a ball head and I was accidentally rotating the scope as I was reentering the drifting Sun. The 11 minute capture was 81gb of data and the stack took a couple hours. I almost fell out off my chair laughing when the first image popped out of AutoStakkert. The saying holds true that you learn more from failures than success, notably so in astrophotography.
