At the beginning of May 2024, there was a series of clear, dark (and freezing cold) nights. With our galaxy in the almost vertical position, these were the perfect conditions for capturing the Milky Way above The Remarkables.
It was not until I took the first photos and saw them on my camera that I realised that there was also a nice green airglow over most of the sky. Even better!
A great night to be out there.
