The milky way erupts from the horizon behind the Castlepoint lighthouse as a brave soul stands high above the crashing waves. Castlepoint, a destination steeped in Maori history and loved by photographers and holiday makers is soon to be included within the next expansion into the Wairarapa dark sky reserve, which when complete, will make it the largest in the world.
