A long, late night waiting for more aurora after a brief but spectacular flash. After the first short dance, it faded to this lovely, rich haze. The Southern Cross is buried in the middle, and shows the start of the milkyway core. After waiting for the tide to come in and wash past me, I was able to capture the reflection of stars and sharp pattern of the sands in the receding tide. The wet feet was worth it.
