Two rare events coincided early this year, with Comet Atlas C/2024 G3 gracing our skies, while a rarely seen (in this location) bioluminescence outbreak lit up the beaches of Kapiti. With warm weather and clear skies, the bioluminescence outbreak grew stronger as the week progressed, and many in the local community came out to enjoy these two incredible spectacles.
