After seeing a few shots of a Milky Way "double arch", I've been wanting to have a go at it.
This little mission up to Lindis Pass seemed to be appropriate for it, with a clear weather window and some great night sky viewing in the area, as well as an ideal orientation.
It definitely proved to be a little challenging, as the timing had to be spot on for this to work. I'm hoping to get a few more like this in the future, but there's a pretty limited window of time to be able to shoot this (plus getting a nice foreground that is suitable is tricky)- so might have to be a next year task!
Pretty happy (as happy as one can be) with this first time attempt, though.
