After a pretty meagre attempt at doing Waihi Falls for a 3rd time, I spotted this composition in the morning and decided to give it a go as soon as the conditions looked suitable. This vantage point solved the major spray issue I had been having from shooting at the base of the main falls and provided a unique view of the location. The challenging part was crossing the stream, while the water was fairly shallow, the rocks were very slippery.
