Captured at 2.54am on the 31st of March 2022 while staying at the Totaranui DOC camp. The stunning dark skies and beauty of the place made me feel like I was the only person alive in the whole universe. This was a quick phone capture while my main camera was set up. No tripod just set the Huawei P30 Pro into manual Pro mode, ISO 5000, f1.6, 20 second exposure, WB 4200K, manual focus, rest the phone against a rock and run into position hoping for the best. This image sums up the feeling of being one with nature and part of a bigger picture.
