The sun has been remarkably active. I had never taken a picture of bright sun before but a friend had a sheet of Baader Solar Shield mylar which he held carefully in from of the lens. I shot and focussed as I would on wildlife. A single image was processed in OSX Photos with detail enhancement in Affinity Photo. The sun only filled about a third of the height of the image so it was heavily cropped. The solar North Pole is at about 1.30.
