This unique annular Eclipse image in CaK with the prominences resulted from a project to get a blue-purple ring of fire. I was inspired by the blue ring of the Plutoatmoshere imaged by the New Horizon spacecraft. I was looking forward to how this would come out due to the much lower light brightness in CaK, with the sun most covered by the moon.
