Setting up in the cold strong winds I wanted to capture a Timelapse of the MIlkway rising behind Mt Taranaki with the Cape Egmont lighthouse in the foreground. Over a period of 2 hours we watched as the milky way rose up from behind the mountain while also enjoying views of shooting stars and comets passing overhead.
